The building is a proposal for Paraisopolis, a slum in Sao Paolo. Based on the idea of the “social condenser” the building proposes new funcionality and use for the inhabitants. Its main concept is to create a new public space and by means of its design to improve the quality of the community. In that way the project aims not only to establish a pleasant working and recreation environment, but also to bring new self-consciousness and awareness in the social aspect.
